SPMH Events & Special Projects

As part of its mission to preserve, promote, improve and provide education about Music Hall, SPMH funds special projects and events to draw people to the facility and to get the word out on the significance of Music Hall to the community and the region.

Beyond the Bricks Music Hall Outreach includes the Music Hall Walking Tours featuring the exterior of this historic landmark and which return May 1, 2017; The Speakers Series, which brings Music Hall to you; and, In-School Programs, coming in 2017. Get information on Music Hall tours.

Special Projects include limited edition tree ornaments featuring not only the original structure but also architectural features; cleaning and restoring the beautiful art-carved panels of the original organ in Music Hall; the award-winning historic documentary, Music Hall - Cincinnati Finds Its Voice, and a new documentary on the structure's renovation, to be completed in late 2017.

Events include the SPMH annual meeting and dinner for members, in which SPMH reviews the year and provides insights and information about Music Hall, and the twice-yearly Wurlitzer concerts, featuring the Albee Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ.
